Practical issues in trials: Electronic consent process

The third seminar in the 2025 series on practical issues in trials hosted by the LSHTM Trials Network.

This is the third seminar in a series of six organised by the LSHTM Trials Network in 2025. The overall focus is on practical issues pertaining to trials. Each seminar will present the state of current practice/ theory/evidence-based approaches followed by concrete worked examples from different presenters. 

The third seminar in our 2025 series on practical issues in trials will focus on the electronic consent process. Kate Nelson will talk about the electronic assent process with adolescents in the MENISCUS trial and Leyla Larsson will speak about the electronic consent process with perspectives from the PROMISE trial. 

At the end of the seminar, the presenters will stay on for 30 minutes for anyone who wishes to participate in a more in-depth, interactive discussion.
